Try dining at Poe’s Tavern. Poe’s Tavern’s décor celebrates the author Edgar Allen Poe. Poe was stationed for a time at Fort Moultrie and wrote about Sullivan’s Island and the surrounding area.

Also, try Home Team BBQ or Mex1 Coastal Cantina. Home Team and Mex1 are favorites of locals and visitors alike. The Obstinate Daughter and the CO-OP, featuring deli sandwiches, are two other establishments you will want to try while you are on Sullivan’s Island. The CO-OP also features a gourmet grocery store along with its deli.

Stop in and have a drink or a bite to eat a Sullivan’s Island icon, Dunleavy’s Pub. Also, don’t miss High Thyme Cuisine. High Thyme is a Bistro offering a traditional menu and vegetarian and vegan options.
